OEM/ODM PROJECT REVIEW

Cooling & A/C OEM/ODM

Review radiators, condensers and thermal-management components by vehicle cooling configuration, core dimensions and connection layout. Define sample checks, port protection and packing requirements before order confirmation.

What to send for review

Use available product details to describe the part you need. We review each request against the specific product and supplier information available.

Part reference

Send the OE number, part number or drawing you need reviewed.

Application

Include the vehicle make, model, year and installation position when known.

Product details

Provide photos, dimensions or other specifications you have confirmed.

Order requirements

State the required quantity, destination market and any branding or packaging request.

Separate engine cooling from air-conditioning applications

Radiators and A/C condensers may look similar but serve different fluid circuits. Identify the exact component, OE reference, vehicle application and engine or equipment version. Include mounting and connection photographs, and note any integrated cooler, receiver-drier, fan or sensor provision required by the original assembly.

  • Radiators: specify core dimensions, tank arrangement, inlet and outlet position, mounting points and relevant integrated cooler connections.
  • Condensers: confirm dimensions, refrigerant connection layout, brackets and receiver-drier arrangement where applicable.
  • Other cooling components: identify the part function and required interfaces rather than relying only on overall appearance.

Define the proposed technical change

A packaging or label change can be reviewed separately from changes to core construction, connection position or mounting geometry. For technical development, supply drawings, the intended cooling duty and the required performance or pressure-test conditions. Confirm compatibility with the specified circuit and the original vehicle installation.

Sample approval and inspection records

Check installation geometry as well as sealing interfaces. For the selected product, agree dimensional checks, applicable leak or pressure testing and handling criteria. Confirm test conditions and available documentation instead of assuming one pressure limit or test method applies to every radiator and condenser.

  • Inspect fin condition, connection surfaces, brackets and port alignment.
  • Confirm which attached components are included and which original parts must be transferred.
  • Keep ports protected from moisture and dirt, and follow the vehicle-specific installation and fluid requirements.

Packing large and fragile assemblies

Protect the core face, fins, tanks, brackets and connection ports with suitable supports and corner protection. Avoid placing carton loads directly on fragile fins. Provide unit quantities, carton or pallet preferences, maximum package dimensions, artwork and destination requirements. Agree sample and packaging approval before releasing the order specification; confirm the documents available for the chosen component.
