Identify blade, arm, motor or washer component
Wiper blades, wiper arms, motors, washer pumps and related parts need different application data. Provide the vehicle make, model, year, OE reference and installation position. Specify front or rear and the intended left-hand-drive or right-hand-drive application where relevant.
- Wiper blades: confirm driver and passenger lengths, conventional, flat or hybrid design, and the exact arm attachment or adapter.
- Wiper arms and motors: check mounting interfaces, linkage arrangement, electrical connector and the specified vehicle application.
- Washer pumps and related parts: identify voltage, connector, outlet number and hose connections, plus reservoir mounting and sealing details.
Branding and specification options
State whether the project uses an existing blade and adapter set with private-label packaging or requires a different rubber profile, adapter, motor or pump configuration. Changes to attachment geometry and functional components need technical review. Provide drawings or a reference sample and identify the vehicle application before artwork is finalized.
Sample checks under the intended application
Agree a sample and adapter combination for the vehicle application. Blade length alone does not establish fit: the attachment, windshield curvature and intended wiping geometry matter. Define the relevant wipe-quality and operation checks with the selected sample and confirm which records can be supplied.
- Check adapter engagement, blade clearance and the specified installation position.
- Review rubber edge condition and wiping contact on the intended application.
- For motors and pumps, agree the functional check, connection arrangement and operating conditions.
Packaging and mixed-size orders
Protect blade rubber edges from bending or abrasion and keep arms, pumps and electrical connectors separated. Confirm whether adapters are installed or packed separately, with a clear contents list and application labels. State quantities by length and reference, retail-pack artwork, barcode requirements and carton sizes. For multi-reference orders, agree labels that help the receiving team distinguish blade pairs and installation positions.
